Last updated: 11-28-2025 8:21pm

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Crash Course SEO (“we”, “us”, or “our”), including the Crash Course SEO plugin, tools (such as DeepScan, Alt Tag Checker and AI Optimizer), content, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By purchasing, installing, or using Crash Course SEO, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

If you have any questions about these Terms, you can contact us at:
[email protected]

1. Who we are

Crash Course SEO provides SEO‑focused tools and training for WordPress site owners, creators, bloggers, and agencies.

Products sold through: Gumroad (crashcourse3.gumroad.com)

Contact: [email protected]

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Gumroad, which also has its own terms and policies.

2. Eligibility

To use the Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), and
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts, purchases & subscriptions

3.1 Purchases via Gumroad

Crash Course SEO Pro plans are sold and managed through Gumroad.
When you purchase a plan:

  • You agree to Gumroad’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  • Payment details are handled by Gumroad or its payment processors—we do not store your full card details.

We may receive information from Gumroad such as:

  • Your name and email address
  • The product/plan you purchased
  • Your subscription status (active, canceled, etc.)

3.2 Subscriptions & renewals

Crash Course SEO Pro is offered as a recurring subscription (for example, monthly or yearly).

  • Your subscription will renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Renewal charges will be processed using the payment method on file with Gumroad.

You can manage or cancel your subscription directly in your Gumroad account or via the links in purchase emails from Gumroad.

3.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel:

  • You will generally retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
  • After that, your license may downgrade or deactivate, and Pro features may no longer be available.

Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund (see Section 6).

4. License & permitted use

When you purchase Crash Course SEO Pro, you are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to install and use the plugin on sites covered by your plan, subject to these Terms.

Unless otherwise specified:

  • The Solo / individual plan is intended for use on your own websites or limited client projects as described on the pricing page.
  • The Agency or higher plans may allow use across additional client sites, subject to the license terms shown at purchase.

You agree not to:

  • Resell, rent, share, or redistribute the plugin or license key outside of what your plan allows.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code, except where permitted by law.
  • Use the Services for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate licenses that are clearly abused, shared beyond plan limits, or used in violation of these Terms.

5. Use of third‑party services (AI, hosting, analytics)

Crash Course SEO integrates with and/or relies on third‑party services, including but not limited to:

  • AI providers (e.g. OpenAI) – for generating content, reports, or suggestions
  • Hosting providers – for our website and APIs
  • Analytics and logging tools – to monitor usage and performance

Your use of these third‑party services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

  1. with details, and
  2. Give us a reasonable opportunity to troubleshoot and help.

In some cases, at our sole discretion, we may offer a refund or partial refund, especially where the product cannot reasonably be used as advertised and the issue cannot be resolved.

Any refunds, when granted, will be processed via Gumroad and returned to the original payment method where possible.

7. No guarantees / results disclaimer

Crash Course SEO is designed to help with SEO‑related tasks (such as rewriting content, analyzing pages, highlighting alt text issues, etc.), but:

15. Contact

If you have any questions about these Terms or our policies, please contact:

Email: [email protected]

We’ll do our best to respond within a reasonable timeframe on business days.

You can customize:

  • [DATE]
  • [YOUR COUNTRY / STATE]
  • Any plan names or license details to match how you actually sell.

If you’re happy with this, the next “launch prep” step I’d tackle is:

  • Double‑check all top‑level nav + CTAs (Pricing buttons, DeepScan hero, Alt Checker hero, footer CTA) to make sure every “Buy” or “Get Pro” link goes to the same Gumroad product and the flow is smooth on desktop + mobile. If you want, I can give you a quick click‑through checklist for that too.
